"I have several Trek pants. They are great to wear on long hikes. I have, however, put Velcro on all the lower side pockets of my pants to keep the flaps closed. The have no button/snaps. And for long hikes, you want everything secured."

I'm between small and medium, but I went with small based on other reviews and they fit perfect, though medium would have been comfortable too if I wanted a little looser fit - I figured for hiking and being active, slightly tighter was the better option!"
