Whether you wear your workout pants to run errands or run 10 miles, it is important they fit you right. Exercise pants that are the perfect fit will keep you from becoming distracted and frustrated. Consider these 5 tips when choosing the right fit for your workout tights:
- Baggy Crotch // If your workout tights are loose around the crotch, we recommend going down 1 size. Extra fabric around that area could cause uncomfortable chafing.
- Squat Test // Bend over and squat down like a frog… if you can see the tag on the pants, your underwear, or even worse your skin, you have several problems. Most likely the leggings are not made of high quality materials and too thin. Another solution could be that they are too tight. Try sizing up one size.
- Loose Knees // If the fabric behind your knees is bunchy and saggy, your workout leggings are too loose and you should size down.
Falling Down // When your pants aren’t tight enough to stay on your waist, you most likely need to size down 1-2 sizes. You may also want to consider your body type and wear higher waisted pants.
Consider the fabric type when choosing what size of workout tights to wear. Thin fabrics might be too sheen if they are too tight.
No workout clothes should be too tight that it affects your full your range of motion. You should be able to move comfortably.
