I started wearing these at about 12 weeks pregnant when I just started to outgrow my non-maternity workout pants. I went with my normal Senita size of medium, and the shiorts fit great. Very comfortable and seem to have plenty of room to grow. I have worn to crossfit-style classes as well as on hikes and been happy.
I love these! I'm a big fan of Rios in general, so I'm glad the maternity ones are just as comfy. I wear between L - XL depending on style/print/etc. I got these in XL and they're perfect. The over tummy panel is comfortable. What I don't love is that they're a long, I wish there was a shorter version like regular Rios, and that the pockets are both high on the waist and thin so it's a bit of effort to get my phone in/out compared to other senita bottoms. Otherwise, I might have to get another pair because I'm wearing these constantly in Phoenix summer heat!
These shorts are awesome. Bought them around 18 weeks and I wish I had done it sooner. Great support so far (21 weeks now) and making it so much easier to continue running during pregnancy!
My favorite maternity bike shorts, just wish inseam was longer
These fit TTS and I love the light fabric, plus pockets. I wish there was a 7” or even 9” inseam option for maternity though.
WHY DID I WAIT?!
Was on the fence about buying these but I am so glad I did! They are comfortable, have pockets and I can choose to wear the belly band up or folded down. I’m 21 weeks and do a half-fold currently but they have been perfect for walks, workouts, and cycling. Also great for trips to the park with my toddler. I do think they run a tad small so I sized up to large (normally a medium in lux pace pants and Victoria leggings non-pregnant) and they’re great!
