My first bathing suit purchase postpartum. I haven't purchased a one-piece in AGES. I am 5'10", 175 lbs, and currently wear a size 10 bottom and a size medium top. While pregnant my OB kept telling me HOW LONG my torso was so I went with a Large Tall from the reviews. I feel like the Tall part wasn't necessarily needed. I have some extra fabric lengthwise in the middle. Truthfully isn't the end of the world since my middle isn't back to pre-baby. I can say I love the fabric and the pattern. I had purchased the suit in the Island fabric. I also like that it has cups built in for some support and the back is a nice touch with the ties! Spices what looks like an ordinary suit up a little!
I'm about 5'7", 230lbs and ~36DD; I bought an XL in this. I'm a heavier hourglass, mostly carry my weight in my lower half - booty and thighs, some belly. I love this suit - if you have a big butt like mine, it'll be quite a bit bootylicious but I didn't have the slipping issue most other reviewers mentioned. Husband loves the look and so do I; the suit is tight enough that it's sealing in the stuff I don't want jiggling at the beach and usually feel self-conscious about, and the shape it gives my larger chest is great - it's hard to avoid the large uni-boob look in swimsuits. I wanted to just walk around in this, I liked it so much. I had to adjust the straps and cups a bit to get it to lay the way I wanted, but it worked out well. I ended up buying an XL in the island print and XXL in the navy and those fit too, just a little differently.
I need a one piece as I am newly pregnant and think it will work for me this summer. It is supportive and wonderful and I will definitely wear it after being pregnant this summer. It is a little snug in the lower back area, but I love that it is snug enough to keep me all tucked in and secure. I ordered another one in the island print too! I am between a small and medium usually and went with a medium.
