Fabric and Care
Model is 5'8" and wearing a size medium.
Ordered a pair of the navy leggings in addition to the black pair I have. The seams on this pair are tearing already which was surprising because I’ve only washed them 2 times and I don’t dry them. My black pair is starting to as well but I’ve work those a good bit already. Though I’ve had neither for over a few months so not sure why they are?? Either way for the price, fit and comfort I would probably still by again.
I definitely recommend sizing up if you are further along in your pregnancy. Bought these closer to the end of my 2nd trimester and just from putting them on, the whole seam across the buttocks made a terrible ripping sound. Now, I kept them and still wore them and have had no issue other than some other seam pops. They feel good, are lightweight, and are not see-through.
I typically have worn a size S in the regular luxe pants and been happy with them- this was primarily to keep the waist from gapping. Now that I am pregnant and showing earlier than typical for a first baby, and to make it easier to pull these on when even bigger, I bought a M since that is what the size chart generally recommends. The legs and butt in these are awkwardly small. I am only just beginning my second trimester and these will likely do a better job of staying up once my belly fills the space more but I have a hard time with these guys falling down. The fabric is nice and honestly for the price they're good to have. they just do not stay up on me, yet, with walking or any amount of higher intensity workout or squatting. I was also disappointed that by going up in a size from S to M the legs are still so short! I'm 5'5'' and the cut is a 7/8 if not capri at best which feels shorter than my full length pants that are not maternity from Senita.
I like the pockets, fabric could be softer. I am normally a Senita medium and these fit great on my legs but there is a lot of compression on my bump (I am 27 week). Maybe it will stretch out a bit? A little support/compression is nice for working out, but I find that they aren't very comfortable for lounging because of the compression. Was hoping for pants in which I could do both (lounging and working out) but seems like they will just be for working out.
