These were my first venture into the "biker short" style and I discovered they are just not for me. Maybe I'd like the longer 5" or 7" lengths better, but I knew I'd never wear them. I had read that some people, particularly with bigger thighs (like me!), said to size up in this style so I bought both my regular leggings size (Small) and a size up (Medium). I would say consensus is correct that sizing up is the way to go if your thighs are on the thicker side. The Smalls were definitely pinching my thighs and felt more "sausage-like." If I had the confidence to rock these I would've stuck with the Mediums, which did fit, but I chose not to keep either size. They're good quality, and I love the lux material and plum color (I already owned the plum bra and 7/8 leggings), so I still give it 4 stars if you're into this style.
I adore this colour! And love the Lux fabric. The only thing is the high waist bunches on my short torso.
Color and material are great but the shorts dip into my thighs, wouldn't have been able to go a size up since already in the small doesn't hold properly around my waist; all the compression I feel is around the butt and thighs.
These pants are great if you just want to walk or jog in them. I have worn/washed these a couple of times now and when I do lower body/core workouts, the waist or the bottoms roll. Not the end of the world, but if you are looking for something to stay put during workouts, I would look elsewhere
I got these shorts in plum and they are very comfortable to wear. I like to wear them on hot days because they are so light. If I do workout, they don't move and they allow me to be flexible.
